- Registrations: Open from 15th October 2025, 06:00 AM IST to 23rd October 2025, 11:59 PM IST. Register at https://cbit-hacktoberfest25.vercel.app/.
- Git Workshop: Conducted on 24th October 2025, from 07:00 PM IST to 09:00 PM IST.
- CBIT Hacktoberfest Hackathon 2025:
- 24-hour virtual hackathon
- Starts: 25th October 2025, 04:00 PM IST
- Ends: 26th October 2025, 08:00 PM IST
Eligibility
- Open to students enrolled in any bachelor's degree or high school program, from any field.
- Teams must consist of 3 to 5 members.
- Cross-college teams are allowed; individuals of all skill levels, from beginners to experts, are welcome.
- Registration on the official website is mandatory.
Project and Submission Requirements
- Projects must be developed during the official hackathon period.
- Each team must submit:
- A GitHub repository link with complete source code and clear README documentation.
- Brief documentation outlining:
- Technology stack used
- Problem tackled
- Contributions of each team member
- Only one submission per team is allowed.
- Submissions must be completed before the end of the hackathon.
Prizes
- Prizes for top performing teams will be announced on the event website.
- Awards will recognize innovation, technical complexity, and impact.
Judging Criteria and Winner Selection
- Entries will be evaluated based on:
- Creativity and innovation
- Technical quality and completeness
- Applicability and real-world impact
- Use of open-source technologies and collaborative contributions
- Winners will be selected by a panel of CBIT Open Source Community mentors and experts.
- All judging decisions are final.
