Hacktoberfest is a global celebration of open source conducted every October. At CBIT Open Source Community, we commemorate it through our flagship 24-hour virtual hackathon hosted on Discord. This year marks the 8th edition of the event, continuing our tradition of fostering collaboration and innovation within the developer community.
The hackathon aims to encourage participants to explore and contribute to open-source platforms like GitHub, promoting knowledge sharing and community-driven problem-solving. It brings together students with diverse skills and experiences to collaborate and develop impactful solutions to real-world challenges using emerging technologies.
